Scholarships & Fellowships
For many, cost is becoming an increasingly important factor in the choice of whether or not to study abroad.
Cornell offers two scholarship programs to help students take advantage of the various off-campus study opportunities. The Levy Awards are given to students participating in block-long courses taught by Cornell faculty. The Class of '55 Awards are for students participating in virtually any off-campus program, whether they choose a Cornell course, a semester-long program or a year-long exchange program. Read about Class of '55 Award winners' experiences here.
Additionally, certain Cornell Off-Campus Courses with Economic, Business and/or Public Policy foci may be eligible for additional scholarships sponsored by The Berry Center. Each scholarship has its own specific requirements, criteria and award amount. Currently there are no additional scholarship opportunities.
The deadline for all Cornell Off-Campus Study Scholarships is in the spring preceding the academic year when the course/program takes place.
In addition, the Office of International and Off-Campus Studies can assist students in finding area- or subject-specific scholarships and grants based on their individual interests. There are also many loan providers that have special financial packages for students studying abroad.

There are also resources for students who are interested in continuing their international education after graduation. Cornell helps students identify scholarships and fellowships for international graduate programs to help students become global citizens, even after they've left the Hilltop.
