Department of History
Our coursework focuses on European and U.S./Latin American history, but Cornell's small size and One Course At A Time schedule make these traditional concentrations far from ordinary. Our courses easily integrate films, field trips, in-depth discussions, and focused projects such as documentary film-making. Students also have the flexibility to pursue block-long off-campus courses, internships, and more.
History faculty and courses contribute to a number of interdisciplinary majors, including ethnic studies, international relations, Latin American studies, and Russian studies.
