Campaign for Cornell College

Majors & Minors

Cornell students choose from 35 majors, 25 minors, and 11 pre-professional programs. Many choose to pursue in-depth multiple interests, perhaps combining a minor with a major. Don’t see the major you’d like to pursue? Design your own, as Cornell students sometimes do.

Most majors are housed in academic departments, though some are interdisciplinary, involving courses and faculty from multiple departments. Regardless of the major you choose, you’ll have many opportunities to explore the breadth as well as depth of our liberal arts curriculum.
